Hello, my name is Ron Nakamoto and this blog was set up for my master’s degree summer class at FSU, Web 2.0 Learning. This course examines “Web 2.0’s influence on how people learn and work and what we, as instructional designers and performance technologies, might do to harness the power of Web 2.0 and its related tools for educational purposes” (Class syllabus). Through this blog you will see my journey through web 2.0 and the different tools and resources I discover. For this week we were introduced to items like twitter, RSS feeds and this blog. I discovered that I already had set up a twitter account a long time ago an no I didn’t have any followers. I also found that my wife must have set up a Nakamoto House blog that she decided not to use under the google blog options. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to digging into the class.

  1. Hi Ron! You'll have to check with your wife and see what her plans were for that blog. :)

  2. Hey Ron,

Love your blog so far, you're bringing a lot of great content TO your blog, which from what I've read, is how you get a lot of readers... Not that that's what you're trying to do here, but still, it's bringing me over every day! :)

I also love how you've added your other social media platforms to this blog for others to reach out to you!

And agree with Vanessa, what was your wife up to, hmm? :-P

  3. Thanks Shannon, I did find out that she started her own blog for art work and greeting cards that she creates. She hasn't done a lot with yet but she first was playing around with the goggle blog options before going with one that allowed her more creativity on the site.
